ADALPI is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. We will collect and process personal data which you submit voluntarily to us when you enter into contact with us via this website or otherwise or where you become a member of ADALPI or one of its Groups of Experts.

ADALPI may modify this policy from time to time in response to legislative or technical changes by updating this page. You should check this page periodically to ensure that you agree with any changes. This policy is effective from 1 August 2018.

We may collect, store and process the following personal data which you give us when you enter into contact with ADALPI:

  • The personal choices you have made upon becoming a member of ADALPI or one of its Groups of Experts;
  • Any other personal information that is necessary for servicing your membership, such as financial information for processing your membership dues.

What we do with your personal data

We will use your personal data to respond to any queries or requests you may have or to service your membership. This includes invitations to relevant events, including General Assemblies for our members, updates on our activities and other related news and generally correspondence relating to your membership.

We will use your personal data for internal purposes. Your personal data will only be shared with third parties, if you have consented expressly in writing or where required by law. We will host profiles and biographies of our members only where you have asked us to do so.

How long we retain your data

ADALPI will retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to achieve its purpose outlined above, taking into account our legal obligations and tax or accounting rules. Once your data no longer serves this purpose, it will be destroyed.

We are committed to ensuring that your personal data is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the personal data we collect and process.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

If you feel that your privacy rights have been violated, you have a right to make a complaint to the competent Data Protection Authority.
